Highfield and Brookham

  • As a self-employed visiting teacher, Jenni Stafford will deal directly with parents regarding lesson scheduling, private lesson sign-up, pupils’ progress, etc.
  • When signing up a child, parents will be required to give their contact details.
  • Parents should be aware that due to the nature of dance it may be necessary for the teacher to use physical contact when training young dancers. (e.g. correcting the position of arms or legs).
  • The timetable remains the same throughout the term and children must have their dance kit with them on the days they need them.
  • Clubs and private lessons do not run in the first and final weeks of term.
  • Parents are not allowed to watch lessons as this is a distraction to the children. Parents are warmly invited to watch the final lesson of term.

Oakridge Hall

  • Parents must ensure that their child has been to the toilet before their lesson begins. The teacher is not able to take pupils to the toilet.
  • Parents should be aware that due to the nature of dance it may be necessary for the teacher to use physical contact when training young dancers (e.g. correcting the position of arms or legs).
  • If the teacher is unavailable to give any scheduled lesson, and a supply teacher cannot be arranged, the lesson will be carried forward to another date. If this is not possible, any fee already paid will be refunded. There will be no reduction in fees for lessons missed by the pupil.
  • All lessons of the term are billed up front. If a child misses a lesson, Stafford Ballet, are not obliged to refund for that lesson.
