Welcome to the Stafford School Of Ballet. We run classes on Saturday mornings at Aldworth School in Basingstoke. Our classes follow the Cecchetti syllabus and we offer opportunities for pupils to work towards exams whilst enjoying their dancing.

Classes are taught by Jenni Stafford who has a wealth of performing and teaching experience. Her career began at the age of sixteen when she started a two year contract with Ballet Theatre Afrikan in South Africa. She then returned to England to do a degree in Choreography and Dance (combined with Journalism) graduating in 2012 with 1st Class Honours.

After University Jenni spent seven years working at Highfield and Brookham Schools where she taught RAD and IDTA syllabus lessons. She entered over 150 successful pupils for ballet and dance exams during her time there. Alongside teaching Jenni spent a three year period travelling to Essex for week-end rehearsals with the Chelmsford Ballet Company. She enjoyed performing in Carnival of the Animals (2015), Sleeping Beauty (2016), and Alice’s Adventures (2017).

Jenni is qualified with the IDTA holding the Level 4 Diploma for which she achieved 92% (2014). She has also completed the Cecchetti DDI achieving 95% (2018). She is a Mutually Appreciated Teacher with the RAD and an Affiliated  Teacher with the ISTD allowing her to enter pupils for exams.
